Olive Rosemary Butter: A Flavourful Holiday Spread

Elevate your holiday charcuterie board with our rich and savoury Olive Rosemary Butter, a delicious blend of Pilaros Ionian Olives and fragrant rosemary, whipped into creamy butter. This simple yet elegant spread is perfect for pairing with warm, crusty bread, offering a burst of flavour in every bite. Let’s explore how easy it is to prepare this delightful and versatile spread for your next holiday gathering.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup Pilaros Ionian Olives, pitted

  • 1 tbsp chopped rosemary

  • 1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature

Instructions:

  1. Chop the Olives: On a cutting board, finely chop the Pilaros Ionian Olives until you have about 1/4 cup of chopped olives. Set aside.

  2. Prepare the Butter Mixture: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened butter, chopped rosemary, and chopped olives. Mix well using a spatula or spoon, ensuring the olives and rosemary are evenly distributed throughout the butter.

  3. Form the Butter Log: Lay out a sheet of parchment paper. Spoon the butter mixture onto the paper and gently roll it into a log shape. Twist the ends of the parchment to seal the butter inside. Refrigerate the butter log for 20-30 minutes to firm up before serving.

  4. Serve and Enjoy: Once chilled, slice the Olive Rosemary Butter and serve it as part of a holiday charcuterie board, paired with hot, fresh bread. The rich, savoury flavours of the olives and rosemary will perfectly complement any assortment of cheeses, meats, and crackers.

Our Olive Rosemary Butter is an irresistible addition to any holiday spread. The combination of briny Pilaros Ionian Olives and fragrant rosemary infuses the butter with rich, Mediterranean-inspired flavours that will delight your guests. It’s easy to make, can be prepared in advance, and transforms any simple bread or cracker into a gourmet treat.
