Sweet and Spicy Peach Jam: A Flavourful Delight

Indulge in the irresistible blend of sweetness and spice with our tantalizing Sweet and Spicy Peach Jam. This delightful recipe features the juicy goodness of Diana Peaches, paired with the zesty kick of chilli peppers and the subtle tang of lemon. With just a hint of heat and a burst of flavour in every bite, this homemade jam is sure to elevate your breakfast or snack time to new heights.


- Diana Peaches

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 lemon, juiced

- 2 chilli peppers

- 1 tsp Kalas Iodized sea salt


  1. Pour the jar of peaches and syrup, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and salt into a medium-sized pot.

  2. Cut two chilli peppers down the middle and remove the seeds. Add the chillies to the peach mixture.

  3. Heat over medium-low heat for half an hour, stirring occasionally.

  4. Once the liquid has cooked down to half the original volume, raise the heat and start stirring more frequently. If you prefer a chunkier jam, avoid breaking the peaches into small pieces. If a smoother jam is desired, use a potato masher to break down the peaches.

  5. Continue cooking for another 30 minutes until the peaches have cooked down to a quarter of their original volume, the jam has reached the desired consistency, and has deepened in colour.

  6. Store the jam in the refrigerator and enjoy!

Note: If you prefer a non-spicy version, simply omit the chilli peppers for a classic peach jam experience.
